Want to know how to deal with panic attacks?  Not having a plan of attack when one comes on can really make simply living life difficult.  Never knowing when an attack will come on or what to do is just torture!  So what can we do so that we come to battle prepared?  Here are a few tips which should help you out:

1.    You’re NOT Going To Die!

If you want to learn how to deal with panic attacks, one of the most important things you need to know is that you’re not going to die.  When you experience one, you feel like you may be having a heart attack and you can collapse at any second.  You feel confused about what is going on and that only makes things worse.  But realize there has never been a reported case of someone dying from a panic attack and take comfort in that.

2.    You WON’T Stop Breathing

If you find yourself taking shallow breaths or running out of air, realize that you are not going to stop breathing from the panic attack.  Breathing is an automatic bodily function, even if you were to go unconscious , your body would continue to breathe on it’s own without you even thinking about it.

3.    It WILL Pass

Another thing which will help you deal with the sensations is knowing that they will pass.  Panic attacks do not last forever.  You see, they are triggered by the sympathetic nervous system which releases adrenaline.  But at some point your parasympathetic nervous system MUST kick in and calm your body, bringing it back to normal functioning.  It is inevitable.  Knowing this inevitability will help you to get through the intense emotions.

So if you want to know how to deal with panic attacks, these tips should help, however these are only band-aid solutions to a much bigger problem.  To really cure yourself of panic attacks for good, you need a solution which is a lot more powerful.  One such solution is the One Move Technique which has been used by over 27,000 people successfully.  To find out more about the One Move Technique, click on this link for more info.
