Night Panic Attacks
Night panic attacks are horrible not only because they are a scary thing to go through, but they rob you of your sleep and leave you feeling miserable day in and day out. We all need our beauty sleep and the last thing we need is this little panic gremlin jumping up and down on our bed when we just want a little shut-eye. So how do we manage this? Here are a few tips:
1. Create A Relaxing Bedtime Environment
If you want to help cut down on your night panic attacks, make your bedroom more of a relaxing environment. Do this by taking away things that are going to stimulate your mind like the TV or computer, just make the room exclusively for sleeping in. You want your bedroom to be as quiet as possible. One thing you can try though are some relaxing rushing water tapes, play those and see if it helps you to fall asleep peacefully. You can find tapes such as that online.
2. Avoid Tossing And Turning
Tossing and turning in bed usually happens when you’re just not ready to go to bed because you’re not tired enough. So to get yourself in the mood, try taking a relaxing bath, or try doing a nice 30-60 minute workout right before bed, that should help you hit the bed hard and sleep like a log.
Often times the night panic attacks are brought on because your mind is too alert and can hear things like your heart beating or your body breathing which can trigger the attack. This is why it’s critical to have yourself so tired out and in a nice relaxed environment so as to reduce the chances of that happening.
Now while this will help out a bit, it’s not a complete solution. If you want to eliminate your night panic attacks all together you need a more powerful solution. One of the best solutions out there is the “One Move Technique”, it’s helped over 27,000 people thus far and I’d highly recommend it for this. To check it out for yourself, click on this link.
